Locations
Lakeland rowing Club is in the privileged position of having the opportunity to use quite a few of the lakes in the Lake District. Because of the wide geographical area we have positions in both the north and south lakes.
North Lakes - Bassenthwaite Lake
Bassenthwaite is a large shallow lake situated close to the A66 where it is shared with a local sailing club and a fishing community as well as a nature reserve. There is ample space for all users and we are currently in theĀ process of having a club house being designed and built at Peel Wyke, at the north west end of the lake.

South Lakes - Windermere
In the south the club has a number of boats at the south end of the lake. These are located near Newby Bridge where the lake is less populated but still within reach of the main transport routes.
